I was referred to Mr Mark Singh having head breast cancer treatment with concerns that it might have metastasised to the oral/neck region; needless to say I was feeling anxious. Mr Singh could not have been more helpful, personable or reassuring. He is clearly not only an excellent and knowledgeable medical professional, but a compassionate and understanding human being with outstanding communication skills. From the moment I met him, he made me feel at ease and listened attentively to my concerns. He was thorough both in his examination and in his explanation of the possible reasons for the symptoms I was experiencing. He offered a very thought-provoking perspective and possible solutions and approaches to ease the pain. Happily, I have not experienced a spread and I am changing some lifestyle habits as a result of our conversation. I could not recommend him more highly.

I could not recommend Dr Singh more highly .from the moment he introduced himself and explained the procedure I was to undergo and answering all my questions clearly he acted in both a friendly and professional manner. Throughout the procedure he and his excellent team ensured that I was both comfortable and informed every step of the way.

Having been physically assaulted with a single punch to the face my son became a patient at Bristol Royal infirmary. He underwent neurological tests and CT scans to his head before being discharged to Mr Singh at the Maxillofacial unit. My son was not only in a lot of pain but as a 19-year-old extremely concerned that his facial injuries would be result in permanent deformity. It was therefore a breath of fresh air that Mr. Singh was both personable, patient and encouraging when explaining the nature of his injuries and how they might be repaired surgically. Mr Singh assured my son that the operation would be carried out at the earliest opportunity and apart from a minor facial scar the outcome is likely to return his original features. Mr Singh’s explanation and recognition of Robert’s psychological concerns has had a very beneficial effect to my son’s mental well-being.

Having discovered a lump in my cheek and been urgently referred to an Oral Surgeon, I was extremely fortunate in being treated by Mr Mark Singh. After his initial diagnosis, he arranged for the lump to be removed and for me to have a biopsy and a number of scans without delay, explaining and interpreting each one thoroughly, clearly and honestly. When a long and tricky neck dissection was needed, the procedure and aftercare were, once again, thoroughly and sympathetically explained. His skill and care during the whole process were exemplary. What started as a great fear of the unknown changed to a feeling of much relief as a result of his timely, superb treatment and in the on-going care.that I'm receiving. My wife and I have been overwhelmed by the dedication and skill of this outstanding man. Plus, he's a great bloke with a good sense of humour!
